The 2013 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS were filled with show-stopping performances. Co-host PSY, who nabbed the MMVA for Viral Video of the Year, opened the show with a rousing rendition of his juggernaut hit "Gangnam Style" and got the fans laughing with an over-the-top parody of Beyonce's "Single Ladies." Avril Lavigne rocked the 2013 MMVA stage with her single "Here's To Never Growing Up" after taking home a statue for International Video of the Year by a Canadian. British singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeren, brought down the house with a soulful rendition of "Lego House," while Marianas Trench delivered a killer performance of "Desperate Measures" after taking home the MMVA for Pop Video of the Year for the second year in a row. After picking up an MMVA for International Video of the Year, pop superstar, Demi Lovato, stopped hearts with a medley of "Heart Attack" and "Give Your Heart Break," and first time nominee and winner, Serena Ryder performed an explosive medley of her mega-hit "Stompa" and "What I Wouldn't Do" complete with pyro.
