"As the most-attended show in North America, we've always recognized the fact that we are not only in one of the world's most famous cities, but also in North America's largest Designated Market Area (DMA) for new vehicle sales, so we are especially pleased with our OICA certification this year," said LaSorsa.
"Attracting over one million visitors a year, the New York Auto Show is one of the most important automobile consumer events in the world, so it is no wonder that the automakers will go all out to make the 2011 Show a one-of-a-kind experience that is both informative and fun for the huge and diverse demographic who enjoy the Show," he continued.
"With planning for the 2011 Show well under way, we're delighted to start announcing the first of many 'new' news items. The automakers are already lining up dozens of new vehicles to unveil for the first time in New York along with new fun and informative interactive displays, ride and drives and eco-experiences that will surprise and amaze visitors to this year's event. It's called the 'New' York Auto Show for a reason!" said show director Candida Romanelli.
"Quite frankly, there is nothing as much fun or as good a value as a whole day's entertainment at the New York Auto Show. We welcome current and future car buyers and their friends and families to visit us and either research their next new car or dream about their future ride. We know that visitors to auto show's are greatly influenced by what they see there," she continued.
Auto Shows are where people come to touch, feel and compare the new models in an easy, no pressure atmosphere that is at the same time exciting and very informative. NYIAS is looking forward to showing-off the latest and greatest cars and trucks from around the world in the knowledge that this is the only place that people can really compare and research every new vehicle under one roof.
