ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Ferrari North America is pleased to announce the calendar of the 2011 Ferrari Challenge Season, which will see the debut of the new 458 challenge, the fifth and latest generation of challenge cars.
This year's schedule will take the drivers to exciting new tracks, as well as to some of the most popular and familiar ones in North America.
The official kick-off will be during the May 1st weekend at the Infineon Raceway, in the heart of California wine country.
As in prior years, the Ferrari Challenge will support the Canadian F1 GP in Montreal: always one of the highlights of the season.
Drivers will compete on tracks with a strong heritage, such as Laguna Seca and Lime Rock Park, as well as, for the first time ever, on the streets of Toronto during Indy car series. Homestead will be the location where the season will wrap next year.
The Corse Clienti department's 599XX, FXX and F1 Clienti programs in 2011 will be present at Infineon and Laguna Seca.
