2010 North of Boston Business Plan Competition Entry Deadline Is January 28th
$5,000 first prize
SALEM, Mass., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The deadline is quickly approaching for entrepreneurs to enter the 2010 North of Boston Business Plan Competition. First prize this year is $5,000, all entry forms and executive summaries must be delivered to the Enterprise Center at Salem State College no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 28, 2010 in order to be eligible for the 2010 competition. The actual business plans are due February 26 by 5:00 p.m. All entry forms, eligibility requirements and other information can be found at www.enterprisectr.org/bpc
The North of Boston Business Plan Competition is put on by the Enterprise Center, a small business growth center for entrepreneurs. The competition is designed to find companies that are less than three years old and plan to grow to at least five employees in the next two years. In order to be eligible the business must commit to locate in Essex County, MA or the Merrimack Valley of MA. The majority of judges in the competition are early stage investors and bankers.
A $5,000 Grand Prize will be awarded for the best business plan, as well as a second place prize of $3,000, and third place prize of $2,000 after the finalists present their plans at the competition finale on April 12.
