1st Tribal Lending Commits $60K in Scholarships to the American Indian College Fund

PINOLE, Calif., Dec. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- 1^st Tribal Lending, the nation's leading Section 184 mortgage lender, announced it has committed to funding at least $60,000 in scholarships in 2015 with the American Indian College Fund. The amount will be enough to support scholarships for 16 American Indian students for the 2015-2016 school year.

Donations for scholarships are funded based on the number of loans 1^st Tribal Lending closes per month. Given the firm's volume through the first three quarters of the year, 1^st Tribal is on track to exceed its minimum commitment of $60,000. In addition to providing these scholarships, 1^st Tribal Lending also provides financial literacy outreach to Native American tribes.
