19 SuccessEHS Clients Selected for CMS PCMH Demonstration
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Nov. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thirty five clinic sites using the SuccessEHS solution were selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) Advanced Primary Care Practice (APCP) demonstration project. These 35 clinic sites constitute 19 SuccessEHS clients, and were among 500 FQHCs selected for the demonstration project from more than 800 applicants. The demonstration project, which was developed by CMS in cooperation with the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), was designed to evaluate the impact of the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) on improving quality, promoting health and lowering healthcare costs.
