19 Exemplars of 21st Century Learning Named by P21
Leading Schools & Districts Transform Learning Experience
WASHINGTON, Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sixteen schools and 3 districts nationwide have been selected by P21, the Partnership for 21st Century Learning as 21st Century Learning Exemplars for 2016.

The P21 Exemplar Program shares and celebrates learning communities that have successfully transformed student learning by incorporating the P21 Framework into teacher practice, curriculum, assessment, and professional development. The 4 year program has identified nearly 60 Exemplars, sharing what it takes to create authentic 21st century learning experiences and provide students access to learning that matters for the future. Representing a wide range of learning environments, instructional frameworks and school cultures, the 2016 Exemplars include:

Key Exemplar practices are identified in the previously released Patterns of Innovation report. P21 evaluates school practices through a rigorous process which includes team site visits to assess implementation. Case studies on the 2016 Exemplars will be available in the Spring, joining 40 existing multimedia case studies at www.P21.org.
