These 12 organizations pooled their resources in a global search for the EHR and Practice Management solution that would best serve their CHC-specific needs. The group selected SuccessEHS after looking in detail at many vendors and products over an exhaustive process which lasted more than two years. "We are very excited to participate in such an innovative and worthwhile health care initiative in Puerto Rico," said Dante Rankart, Vice President of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and CHC Sales at SuccessEHS. "For more than ten years, SuccessEHS has worked closely with FQHCs across the country and territories to deliver consistent success. We look forward to successful implementations of our advanced EHR solution in Puerto Rico, which we hope will benefit the entire island."
Alicia Suarez, Executive Director of PRPCA, said the organization is proud to have partnered with SuccessEHS, as the adoption of EHR technology is vital to public health initiatives in Puerto Rico. "We are proud to announce the signing of this contract. As Federal Funds recipients, we know it is vital for our health systems to adopt new technologies that help improve quality, reduce costs, improve data collection and provide exchange of health information; this new technology will strengthen public health initiatives in Puerto Rico," Suarez said.
Allan Cintron Salichs is the executive director of MedCentro, one of the 12 CHCs to select SuccessEHS, and he believes SuccessEHS will bring MedCentro to the leading edge of healthcare technology. "We are making a major investment in infrastructure, and SuccessEHS will bring together the digitalization of everything in our health center, from health records to practice management to X-rays, labs and pharmacies," Cintron said. "As an added value, this technology allows us to open a health center anywhere and manage it centrally, thus reducing costs. In fact, we are in the process of opening a new satellite health center in the remote mountain community of Villalba and SuccessEHS will play a key role in making this center successful. We see SuccessEHS not as a supplier, but as a business partner."
