Michael Goldman, President, St. Andrews CC Board of Governors joined by Deutch and Aaronson addressed the crowd, "The goal of our entire Club Improvement Plan is to protect our members' community values by investing in upgraded amenities which are attractive to a new generation of members. With the completion of Phase II we can announce that our strategy is working. We have many new families joining the club from as close as the community next door to families from around the globe."
St. Andrews CC members enjoy having five dining spaces year round. The Gallery restaurant décor was inspired by magnificent views of the 18th Green of the Olde Course, museum quality art, including pieces from the Boca Museum of Art, and the exquisite array of culinary delights this club is known for worldwide.
Overnight The View, a new bar and lounge, became the "hot spot" to see and be seen. Aptly named for sprawling views of two championship golf courses, state-of-the-art golf practice facilities and conservation friendly herb and butterfly gardens.
Created for special occasions, the Vine Room received its name from the 100-plus bottles of wine enveloping the private room in the Gallery from behind art deco glass displays. Menus are tailored made for each event and space is limited to 50 guests.
The new Recreation & Aquatic Center everyone offers a lighter, casual fare and specialty drink menu featured at Café Blue complemented by superior poolside service. Featuring three pools, this is where you find families of all ages enjoying either the brimming edge Junior Olympic pool, the Activity Pool or the Adult Plunge Pool. The Junior Olympic Pool is loved by members for the numerous Aquacise class and lap swimming it offers. The Adult Plunge Pool was designed as a cool, relaxing place to sit and chat with friends and family while the Activity Pool was created for younger members with a beach entry rising 42 inches. Pop jets and luminar water jets keep kids entertained all day long. An expanded deck surrounds all three pools with new, eclectic pool furniture and individual sun shades.
Also new to the area is a welcoming water feature at the check-in station, four basalt columns dripping with water specially shipped in for St. Andrews, a larger hot tub and pool changing facilities, restrooms, and sunscreen kiosk. The Recreation & Aquatic Center comes alive on weekends with arts & craft activities for kids and Aqualicious events featuring the hottest DJ's from Florida's famous South Beach.
The Splash Club, a new outdoor, air-conditioned game room for kids was specifically designed to be an educational, interactive destination with creative stations for younger children, three flat screen TVs, thermo sensitive Touch Wall Panels, state-of-the-art gaming systems (including the new Disney® Infinity), arcade games, more arts and crafts and science projects. A new, covered playground features 11 elevated play surfaces, new play equipment, tube slide, spiral slide, deluxe grip climber, gyro capsule spinner, angled lunar climber and centipede climber.
"St. Andrews Country Club is known for exceeding expectations and providing exceptional high end products and services to our members and guests," stated Craig D. Martin, C.C.M. and St. Andrews CC COO/General Manager of St. With these newly upgraded facilitates, St. Andrews professional staff delivers on our brand promise and Mission Statement.
