10th Annual Little River ShrimpFest in South Carolina Returns October 11
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., Sept. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Combining the soul of live jazz music with the flavorful locally-sourced shrimp, the Little River ShrimpFest celebrates its tenth year on Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Little River Historic Waterfront.
Little River is a small fishing community located just south of the North Carolina border and is known for its deep sea fishing, charter boats and savory shrimp. The 10th Annual Little River ShrimpFest is the perfect opportunity to take in the sights of the quaint community, the sounds of local jazz bands and the tastes of local shrimp.
The event hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 and 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12. The Shrimp & Grits Cook-Off will be held at noon on Sunday.
The Little River Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is accepting applications for vendors for ShrimpFest 2014. Vendors are classified as community organizations, arts & crafts, business and food.
