BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- In the build-up to Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, 10T Tech Limited, a Hong Kong-based eSIM solutions provider, announces the launch of the eSIM Alliance, the world's first global alliance of mobile operators ('MNOs') and virtual mobile operators ('MVNOs') facilitating cross-border collaboration on the provision of eSIM services to their subscribers.
"At 10T Tech we strive to push eSIM technology forwards and accelerate its adoption across both the consumer and industrial spaces," stated Fredric Liljestroem, 10T Tech's Chief Executive Officer and co-Founder. "Our goal is to empower the world's tier 2 and tier 3 MNOs and MVNOs to realize the full potential of eSIM and support this paradigm shift in the global mobile telecommunications marketplace."
"A key aspect of helping our current and future clients is the creation of a strategic alliance that 10T Tech is launching between its carrier customers and other interest groups in the eSIM ecosystem. The eSIM Alliance will enable MVNOs and small MNOs to establish direct, cross-border commercial arrangements such as roaming agreements in a way that was simply not possible before today. Ultimately, we anticipate that the Alliance could become a global marketplace for eSIM profiles that is truly inclusive for all types of mobile carriers, large or small."
The Alliance already has a number of founding members onboard, spanning the four continents of Asia, Europe, North America and Africa.
Founded in 2017, 10T Tech offers the world's first eSIM Platform As A Service to have zero upfront costs and zero annual hosting fees utilizing a proven, GSMA-compliant platform that is hosted in a GSMA SAS accredited secure location for subscription management.
