102.5 WDVE Rocks for Children's Radiothon Raises Record Amount of $653,000 for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The eighth annual DVE Rocks for Children's Radiothon raised a record amount of $653,000 for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation from nearly 4,000 donors. The radiothon was broadcast live from the Eat'n Park Atrium at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC Thursday, Sept. 24 through Saturday, Sept. 26.
The 102.5 WDVE on-air personalities, including Randy Baumann & the DVE Morning Show, which includes Bill Crawford, Val Porter and Mike Prisuta, as well as Michele Michaels, and Sean McDowell, all broadcast stories of outstanding care and incredible courage from patients, families, and staff live from Children's Hospital.

The three-day radiothon featured live performances from Scott Blasey of The Clarks, and local musicians, Andre Costello, and Paul Luc. Also, special guests throughout the three days included Pittsburgh Steelers players, Arthur Moats and Jarvis Jones.
