With business analytics solutions from SAP, organizations can benefit from unified solutions for business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, enterprise information management (EIM), enterprise performance management (EPM) and GRC — as well as analytic applications — to better understand their businesses and the best ways in which to grow.
Customer, analyst and partner reactions to the 10.0 release of SAP BusinessObjects GRC solutions have been very positive, commencing with the gathering of GRC industry influencers at the March SAP Insider GRC 2011 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the conference, Cindy Jutras of Mint Jutras pointed out that, "...The voice of the SAP customer has never been stronger," and that SAP is, "...Delivering more value to its customers by listening carefully to their needs." More than 100 customer projects are already underway with the 10.0 release, and many have now gone live — including Levi Strauss & Co., Sharp Electronics and Zurich Financial Services.
The 10.0 release introduces a common look and feel across all applications in the GRC suite; embeds BI reports and dashboards; and includes a graphical tool to define and depict risks. The new features make the products easier to use and enable people to garner attention to risks from business managers who have limited GRC expertise. By integrating GRC activities into core business processes and applications, executives can manage their businesses proactively and strategically rather than reactively.
