HOUSTON, Jan. 17, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Kraton Corporation, a leading global sustainable producer of specialty polymers and high-value biobased products derived from pine wood pulping co-products, announces Edgar Baena has been appointed as Vice President of Global Operations for the Pine Chemicals business. Mr. Baena will oversee the segment's global operations strategy and progress toward achieving operational excellence and further improving manufacturing reliability.

As a veteran manufacturing executive, Mr. Baena joins Kraton with over 20 years of operations and management experience. Prior to Kraton, Mr. Baena held leadership positions at Lubrizol and Dow Chemical. Mr. Baena holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Northwood University.
