Innovator Capital announces a new collaboration with Cisco Entrepreneurs in Residence (Cisco EIR).
Cisco EIR is a global corporate development programme aimed at startups and scaleups – a hyper-efficient platform to build long-term strategic relationships and business outcomes with Cisco Business Units (BUs). Cisco EIR is aimed at early-stage companies working on disruptive technologies in the Internet of Everything/Things (IoE/IoT), Collaboration, AI/Deep Learning/Big Data, Cloud, Enterprise Mobility, Security and Blockchain.
Cisco EIR provides startups/scaleups with opportunities to build strategic relationships with Cisco BUs and executives, co-working space, software, financial support and potential strategic investments or M&A opportunities from Cisco.
Originally launched in Silicon Valley in 2013, Cisco EIR now has a presence in the US and the UK. 33 companies to date have become part of Cisco EIR, and over 20% of them have found successful exits. Cisco EIR startups currently have over 60 strategic engagements inside Cisco.
We are pleased also to announce our continuing collaborations with Cranfield University, the postgraduate specialist for research and teaching in science, technology, engineering and management and Parkview Group, who return to partner CleanEquity for the second year.
Professor Tom Stephenson, FREng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor - Research and Innovation at Cranfield, said:
"Cranfield is delighted to be sponsoring CleanEquity Monaco 2017 in its 10th anniversary year. We have continued our support for this great event and once again, we look forward to the opportunity to hearing about successful early stage Clean Tech companies.
"The benefit of meeting experts in the funding of such companies has also been invaluable in helping Cranfield's Clean Tech entrepreneurial aspirations as an exclusively postgraduate University specialising in technology and management. CleanEquity Monaco really brings together the community to help identify new opportunities and enable growth of businesses."
CleanEquity 2017 sponsor, Parkview International is a global property development company founded in the 1950s. One of its recent projects, 200,000 sqm Parkview Green in Beijing, was the first mixed-use project in China to be awarded the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification. Continuing its reputation for delivering developments that set new benchmarks for quality and innovation, Parkview's latest project QxQ combines off-site manufacturing with high-quality modular architecture. In this way QxQ can provide certainty across Time, Cost and Quality, whilst minimizing environmental impacts.
Parkview International believes there is a responsibility to build better. By sponsoring an event such as CleanEquity's prestigious platform for innovative renewable technologies, we hope to play a bigger role in this change going forward.
