CHTF 2012 Attracts More International Exhibitors & Visitors
SHENZHEN, China, Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Authorized by the State Council of China in 1999, the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) is held every November in Shenzhen. The CHTF has grown to be the leading state-level high-tech event in China. From its beginning, the CHTF has won recognition and acceptance from both domestic and foreign hi-tech enterprises. With exhibit space totaling 105,000m2, the fair has featured enterprises from across China as well as global firms like IBM, Intel, Microsoft and Siemens. The CHTF has also attracted famous institutions of higher learning, leading foreign and domestic news organizations, stock exchanges.
CHTF 2012 will be held from November 16 to 21 in Shenzhen. Exhibitors, visitors and companies from overseas will make the event more international. Compared with 2011, foreign government delegations' number and their exhibition areas will be both increased substantially, as well as the number of overseas visitors and buyers.
Apart from delegations organized by the CHTF hosts, all Chinese provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, cities specifically designated in the state plan, and those from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan will be taking part. 26 delegations from 17 countries including the US, Germany, Russia, Korea, Canada, and Australia have also confirmed their presence. Despite the global economic recession, the four professional shows (IT, ELEXCON, FPD-EXPO, and New Energy & Energy Saving) have continued last year's superb performance, occupying about 34% of the total CHTF exhibition area.
The presence of 5 ministerial officials from Israel, Poland, Hungary, Laos, and Ecuador at the highlight of the CHTF forums - Ministerial Forum has been confirmed, and ministers of many other countries also expressed their intention to attend the forum. International Summit on New Energy and Low-Carbon Development has attracted many international celebrities, including the president of the World Clean Energy Council, the secretary general of European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, the Asia-Pacific director of SAE International, and officials and experts from Natural Resources Defense Council of the US, and some other organizations.
In June, an overseas session of CHTF 2012 was held separately and successfully in Israel and Hungary. 81 Chinese delegates from 9 cities and 5 provinces went to meet over 100 counterparts from Israeli companies and more than 260 Hungarian businessmen, resulting in great success.
