Zeta Interactive Launches 2nd Annual Zeta Cares Initiative; Helping to Bring Charities into the Digital Age
Leading interactive agency to provide email marketing services to select non-profits at no cost
NEW YORK, July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Zeta Interactive, a leading full-service digital marketing agency, today announced the launch of the 2nd annual Zeta Cares program, an initiative that provides charitable organizations with email marketing services at no cost. The goal of Zeta Cares is to help these charities raise awareness for their causes and to attract donors, sponsors and volunteers.
This year's program, which is now open for entry at www.zetacares.com, invites non-profits of all types to apply for email marketing assistance from Zeta Interactive at no charge. As part of the entry process, charities are asked to complete a form that gathers information about their programs.
Once the entry process is completed, the Zeta Cares Committee, chaired by Zeta Interactive CEO Al DiGuido and several other senior Zeta Interactive executives, will select the appropriate charity and begin working with the organization to create their new digital presence. The winning organization will receive free email marketing services from Zeta Interactive's expert email marketing team for a period of one year. Deadline for applications is September 12, 2011 and Zeta Interactive will announce the charity it has selected to support soon after.
This year's launch follows the successful completion of Zeta Interactive's 2010 inaugural program, in which Houston, Texas-based Friday Harbour, was selected as the charter member of Zeta Cares. Working closely with Friday Harbour -- which is focused on serving cancer patients and their families -- the Zeta Interactive team managed to accomplish several goals for the charity, including providing easy access to housing for cancer patients and their families, inviting supporters and sponsors to make quick and easy connections to Friday Harbour donation initiatives and communicating the Friday Harbour story in a mindful, yet innovative fashion.
