Zappos.com To Sponsor Pet Adoption Fees in 15 States and 36 Cities Nationwide with New Friends On Us Fridays Initiative
Zappos for Good, the charitable arm of Zappos.com, is teaming up with North Shore Animal League America to launch Friends on Us Fridays, which will lead into the launch of Zappos' third annual Home for the Pawlidayz campaign on Black Friday
LAS VEGAS, Aug. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Zappos.com, the online retailer known for its exceptional customer service is teaming up with North Shore Animal League America and announcing a new initiative furthering the brands' commitment to animal advocacy and pet adoption. Beginning Aug. 11, Zappos for Good will sponsor adoptions, for all approved adopters, at select shelters across 15 states and 36 cities every Friday leading up to the launch of the annual Home for the Pawlidayz campaign on Nov. 24. This means Zappos will cover all qualifying adoption fees for select shelters each Friday, for both dogs and cats!

Working in tandem with North Shore Animal League America (NSALA), Zappos will announce new cities every week with multiple NSALA shelter partners participating in an effort to find responsible, loving homes for rescued animals. Prospective pet parents across the country can follow the excitement and vote for their city to be included by visiting Zappos.com/Pets and requesting Friends On Us Fridays come to their town.

- Colorado Springs, Wild Blue Animal Rescue & Sanctuary
- Friday, Aug. 15: New York
- Port Washington, NSALA
- Manhattan, Muddy Paws Rescue
- Brooklyn, Sean Casey Animal Rescue
Friends On Us Fridays is an extension of Zappos' annual Home for the Pawlidayz campaign in which adoption fees at shelters across the country are sponsored by Zappos from Black Friday through the holiday weekend. This campaign continues to grow each year and has led to more than 18,000 pet adoptions to-date. Exciting new developments for Pawlidayz 2017 will be announced in the coming months.
