DEARBORN, Mich., Feb. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- WPP's Team Detroit, a leading global marketing communications company, is proud to announce "Elevate" - a 10-week paid "Returnship" program for female advertising professionals looking to re-enter the workforce after an absence of two years or more.

The agency is kicking off the program on Tuesday, Feb., 23rd with a special, one-day event geared toward "elevating" women who fit this demographic.
"Women face a number of challenges when reentering the work force," says Team Detroit's Chief Talent Officer, Linda Taylor. "Our goal is to help talented women in our industry overcome the consequences of a resume gap by providing a fast track back into the ad world. This is one component of our overall diversity strategy and we're hoping it will help increase the number of women in leadership positions."
The event will be keynoted by Hélène Paulette Côté, who launched her REturnships Program at the 3%Conference, last fall. Guests will also enjoy an address by Team Detroit's COO Kim Brink, as well as, members of the Team Detroit leadership team in a panel discussion. "Elevate" is free of charge and includes lunch and a workshop on personal branding. All advertising disciplines are welcome. A "Returnship" application is not required for participation.
