PLANO, Texas, Sep. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- WorldVentures Foundation™ has a "Heart to Serve," creating positive change for children all over the world. The organization supports sustainable programs that promote their health, happiness, safety and development accomplishing its mission through four main ways: VolunTours, Volunteer Days, Dream Courts™ and fundraising.
During a recent national sales training event in Glendale, Ariz., the foundation revealed its new branding featuring the Heart to Serve logo of interlocking hearts. "The new branding represents the foundation's mission to serve children around the world," said Executive Director Gwyneth Lloyd. "We feel that the interlocking hearts represent our goal of leaving each community we visit better than we found it."
Along with the unveiling, while the entire audience of over 15,000 attendees formed the heart shape with their hands, inspirational rapper Princeton Marcellis performed his new song, aptly entitled "Heart to Serve" and written specifically for the WorldVentures Foundation. The song is available for download on iTunes® and Google Play™. The majority of the proceeds from the downloads will go towards the WorldVentures Foundation's unrestricted fund to be allocated across a variety of initiatives.
Princeton, as he is known to his fans, has also performed the song at WorldVentures events in Hong Kong, South Africa and Rome. On Sep. 10, at an event near Johannesburg, South Africa, the "Heart to Serve" music video was officially released. The video was produced by the WorldVentures in-house creative team with the majority of the footage captured at the site of a bottle school in Guatemala.
Bottle schools are schools built in collaboration with Hug It Forward and WorldVentures Foundation using "eco-bricks": plastic bottles stuffed with inorganic trash. Entire communities come together to build a more sustainable educational infrastructure for their future. The two organizations expect to build their 100th bottle school this December.
Lloyd is hopeful that the song's message, "I just want to help make change in life" will inspire people everywhere to have the heart to serve.
