WOW (World of Wisdom) is a child's individualized virtual play and learning space. Three main sections—Homework, Games, eBooks—deliver kids to study and research boosters and tools, games that provide real fun and learning, and an exclusive collection of eBooks about topics that kids love and subjects they study in school. "World Book has been learning about what works with kids for a hundred years now," said Paul Kobasa, editor in chief. "In WOW, we've put that insight together with today's technology to craft a responsive entertainment and education product to show kids that they can have fun and be learning, too."

Game players win badges that encourage them to further challenge themselves, and they can invite brothers, sisters, and friends (even if they are not WOW subscribers) through outside social media channels or through email to join in the play and learning.
