HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolverine's MicroCool™ Division and Niagara Thermal Products today announced they have entered into a strategic collaborative alliance, focusing on the joint development of custom engineered, aluminum cold plates for liquid cooling systems in complicated electronic devices for the global aerospace and defense markets.

Under the collaboration agreement, the two companies have further strengthened their mutual thermal engineering capabilities by creating an innovative liquid cooling system with exceptional heat transfer capability. By combining Wolverine's proprietary MicroCool™ fin geometries with Niagara Thermal's unique aluminum joining technology and heat exchanger design expertise, both companies will provide a new order of magnitude in the development of next generation custom liquid cooling systems, with specific applicability in hybrid electric vehicles, aviation, advanced propulsion systems, alternative energy hardware, UAVs, Satellites, radar systems, and other sectors.
