NEW YORK, Aug. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Lipsky, President of the newly formed film financing and production company WOF Entertainment, Inc., along with Rich Macar, CEO of Buttons Sound Inc., a state-of-the-art post-production facility, have signed a partnership agreement on behalf of their respective companies. "This is our next step to becoming a one-stop, full-service entity for the entertainment industry," said Mr. Lipsky.
Buttons NY has provided post-production services to the entertainment and advertising industry for 25 years, including post work on Happy Feet, Happy Feet 2, John Wick, Monster Hunt, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, as well as on 52 episodes of the Pokémon television series, among others. In addition to its current midtown location, Buttons NY intends to open satellite facilities in both Puerto Rico and Syracuse.
WOF's executive team -- Mark Lipsky, Rob Agueli, and RJ Konner -- is committed to contracting Buttons NY to supply all post-production needs for each of the feature films that WOF Films is planning to produce.
The films Mr. Lipsky has Produced or Executive Produced have grossed approximately $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office level alone and include Coming to America, Another 48 Hrs., Harlem Nights, The Nutty Professor, Boomerang, Vampire in Brooklyn, Beverly Hills Cop III, and Metro. Mr. Lipsky formerly managed the careers of Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and Chris Rock, among others.
