With turnover in all roles in senior living continuing to rise and the U.S. in the midst of a near full-employment economy, conventional hiring practices aren't meeting the industry's needs, she said. She noted that two large players in long-term care have seen significant reductions in turnover using Arena. Sunrise Senior Living improved 90-day employee retention by 27% and one-year retention by 14%. Benchmark Senior Living has found that Arena-recommended hires are turning over more than 30% less often than non-recommended staff. Overall turnover at Benchmark is down by 10%.
