Jif Celebrates Ten Years of Creativity in the Kitchen with More Chances to Win in the Sandwich of the Decade Promotion
ORRVILLE, Ohio, March 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The makers of Jif® Peanut Butter announce that 8-year-old Mallory R. from Hilton Head Island, SC is the winner of the Tenth Annual Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest™ for her sandwich, the P-Nutty BBQ Chicken Quesadilla. This aspiring chef is taking home a $25,000 college fund, plus – in honor of the contest's 10th Anniversary – an additional $10,000 for educational products. Mallory's winning sandwich will also join the Jif Sandwich of the Decade Promotion, which asks peanut butter fans to select the best sandwich out of the 10 Grand Prize winning creations over the past decade of the Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest. Starting March 26, 2012 through April 20, 2012, peanut butter lovers, age 18 or older, can visit www.jif.com to vote for a chance to receive one of 10 Jif gift packs to be given away each day of the promotion.

The dish was featured among an impressive lineup of creative sandwiches presented by the five finalists at the live judging event in New York City. Each of the four runner-ups received a $2,500 college fund and a Jif gift basket in recognition of their delicious achievement.
