Whiting Petroleum Corporation Announces Completion of Offering of Senior Subordinated Notes Due 2018
DENVER, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Whiting Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: WLL) today announced that it completed a public offering of $350 million aggregate principal amount of its 61/2% senior subordinated notes due 2018. Whiting received net proceeds of approximately $342.6 million from the offering, after deducting the underwriter discount and commissions and estimated expenses of the offering. Whiting used these net proceeds to repay a portion of the debt outstanding under its credit agreement.
