WGN Radio/Chicago Selects Radiate Media as Real-Time Traffic Partner
Iconic station will have access to the most accurate local traffic information
CHICAGO, Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Tribune Company's flagship broadcast property, WGN Radio/Chicago, has partnered with Radiate Media to provide the most accurate, up-to-the-minute traffic information to its audience across broadcast, online and mobile platforms.
Radiate Media, the most reliable, independent source of traffic and local condition content, will begin the 24/7 service for WGN-AM 720 on Sept. 1, 2013 as part of a multi-year partnership. Radiate Media currently provides real-time traffic and video solutions to 12 Tribune television stations including WGN-TV/Chicago and CLTV/Chicago. Radiate also serves five Local TV, LLC stations, whose acquisition by Tribune Company have been announced.
