Westinghouse Appoints Meena Mutyala and Jan Dudiak as Vice Presidents in the Newly Formed Nuclear Automation Product Line
- Appointment contributes to recent organizational structure changes implemented to meet the needs of Westinghouse and the fast-growing nuclear energy industry
PITTSBURGH, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Company's Nuclear Automation product line this week announced two key organizational appointments in accordance with the company's recent organizational restructuring.
Appointment of Vice President, Engineering and Product Development, Nuclear Automation
Meena Mutyala is named vice president, Engineering and Product Development for Nuclear Automation. In this new role, Ms. Mutyala is responsible for providing focused leadership of the global product life cycle, including overall system design and architecture of Nuclear Automation's products, based on standard platforms and functional designs.
Ms. Mutyala has more than 30 years of experience with Westinghouse. She previously held the position of vice president, Westinghouse India Business and Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) Customer Project Development, Asia. Prior to that, she held several leadership positions in engineering, program management, manufacturing, quality and acquisitions. In addition to her new role in Nuclear Automation, Ms. Mutyala will continue to serve as the executive sponsor for Westinghouse initiatives in India and will continue to be based at Westinghouse's Cranberry, USA, headquarters facility.
Appointment of Vice President, Operations and Production, Nuclear Automation
Jan Dudiak is named vice president, Operations and Production for Nuclear Automation. In this new role, Mr. Dudiak is responsible for providing focused oversight of operations and production facilities, working with the global Supply Chain Management and Quality Programs organizations to meet production schedules, factory efficiency targets and cost improvements. Additionally, he is responsible for platform standards and applications as well as all Nuclear Automation field services and testing operations.
Mr. Dudiak has more than 29 years of experience with Westinghouse. His most recent assignment was director, Strategic Programs. Prior to that he held a variety of engineering, supply chain and business leadership roles. He will be based at Westinghouse's Cranberry, USA, headquarters Building Five facility.
Both Ms. Mutyala and Mr. Dudiak will report to David Howell, Senior Vice President of Nuclear Automation, who states, "The newly established Nuclear Automation product line has the potential to plan an increasingly important role in the overall success of Westinghouse. The appointments of Ms. Mutyala and Mr. Dudiak to these positions will help us to ensure that Nuclear Automation has the correct processes and people in place to meet the world's needs for commercial nuclear energy."
