Emmy-nominated producer Alejandro Castro Enciso has joined Weber Shandwick as senior vice president and executive producer in the Digital Creative group. Additionally, newly appointed vice president Jacqueline Karis brings a wealth of experience to the agency's Healthcare practice, which continues to expand to address the diverse needs of the California market. These hires follow the recent appointment of senior vice president Scott Davis to lead the Digital and Strategic Planning disciplines in Los Angeles.

In his new role as an executive producer, Castro Enciso will strengthen Weber Shandwick's visual influence and live content creation capabilities on the West Coast. He brings more than 17 years of television experience to Weber Shandwick, having worked on shows such as "NBC's Nightly News," "The TODAY Show" and "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Castro Enciso joins Weber Shandwick with an expertise and passion for storytelling to create unique narratives that move, inspire and entertain audiences. As a producer for "The Oprah Winfrey Show," he played a role in producing some of the show's most notable episodes, including "Oprah's Favorite Things" and "Oprah and Gayle's Big Adventure." In previous roles, Castro Enciso led teams of field producers, editors, associate producers, production assistants, graphic designers, art designers, prop masters, and writers to create memorable and impactful content. Castro Enciso also brings experience in Spanish-language media having worked as a freelance writer for La Opinion, the largest Spanish-language newspaper in the country.
Karis brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare public relations, developing and implementing a diverse range of campaigns for pharmaceutical, biotech, device and nonprofit clients. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Karis worked at the Chandler Chicco Agency where she worked across several therapeutic areas, including cardiology, allergy and pain management.
In his role at Weber Shandwick, Scott Davis leads Digital and Strategic Planning in the Los Angeles office. Davis has a 17 year track record of delivering exceptional results for clients while working at Deutsch, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Ogilvy & Mather, bringing a wealth of experience across multiple communications disciplines.
