Mr. Christensen will help establish Walker & Dunlop's Irvine, California office and focus on multifamily loan originations utilizing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD financing.

Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Christensen was president of CKJ Properties, Inc. and was focused on direct investments in real estate as well as providing real estate consulting services to investors, borrowers and lenders. Prior to CKJ Properties, Mr. Christensen was the chief financial officer at Bankers Mutual which became part of Berkshire Mortgage and was later acquired by Deutsche Bank. Prior to Bankers Mutual, he was controller for Equidon Development Company a commercial real estate development company.
