MONTREAL, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- W Montreal and LIFT Digital, Inc. today announced a partnership giving guests the ability to book LIFT Session, live online fitness sessions, throughout their stay at the hotel and after they return from travel. The LIFT Session platform provides online fitness training, instruction, analysis and monitoring through iPads and TVs.
W Montreal guests will be able to experience critically-acclaimed LIFT Session workouts provided by top fitness professionals in the comfort and convenience of their own guest room for a fee. Certified LIFT Session instructors will be provided and assigned, according to the guests' fitness objectives, by VSQUARE GYM, a high-end boutique fitness club based in Montreal. Guests who already have an existing relationship with a trainer can also train with them on LIFT Session at the W Montreal.
"Health and wellness have become essential for business travelers and guests," said Jean-Francois Pouliot, General Manager. "We see an increasing demand for in room fitness due to convenience and the privacy it provides our guests. With LIFT Session, we can now offer in room, top-quality online personal training that truly differentiates us from the common hotel gym model."
"We built LIFT Session to make quality personal training available and accessible to all, from anywhere," said Raffi Tchakmakjian, co-CEO of LIFT Digital. "We are delighted to partner with W Montreal, who shares our vision. Our customers benefit from training continuity when travelling. This will now be even easier when they stay at W."
The LIFT Session platform is currently available at W Montreal. Guests can request a LIFT Session before or during their stay by contacting the W Montreal concierges, [email protected], and will be able to continue using the platform after their stay at the hotel, wherever they live or travel. Sessions cost CDN $40 for 30 minutes and CDN $70 for one hour.
This is an added step of innovation at W Montreal, after earlier this year becoming one of the first hotels in Canada to introduce SPG Keyless.
