Sakar Expands Vivitar Health & Wellness Line with Debut of New Bluetooth Devices at CES
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 2015 INTERNATIONAL CES -- Electronics leader Sakar International today unveiled four new Vivitar branded fitness trackers at the 2015 International CES, expanding the company's line of health and wellness products into the wearable tech market.
Designed to make achieving health and fitness goals fun, simple and affordable, the new Bluetooth products combine fitness tracking, complete smartwatch functionality and heart rate monitoring into sleek, stylish bracelet-style devices. Each syncs to any Bluetooth smartphone or tablet to record fitness progress by pairing with any fitness app.
"Let's face it: getting and staying in shape is hard enough, and complicated technology that's a chore to use only makes it more difficult," said Liza Abrams, VP of Licensing with Sakar/Vivitar. "These new wearable Vivitar fitness trackers will never get in the way. They're extremely user-friendly and they look great too, which makes it much more likely that you'll incorporate fitness into your daily routine."
The new Vivitar fitness collection includes the:
- Fitness Tracker wristwatch, with three modes to track steps, distance and calories burned. It features a 7-day memory and built-in clock to keep you on track and on time. The large display makes it easy to view progress and the comfortable, adjustable band is available in 10 different colors to stand out, or to blend in, with any style.
- Fitness Smartwatch that tracks steps, distance, calories burned and sleep routine with three exercise modes for walking/running, stair climber and elliptical workouts. An integrated pulse sensor measures heart rate to ensure optimal workout intensity, and the device also includes a clock to make it a practical, everyday accessory. The Fitness Smartwatch syncs with the Vivitar Personal Fitness Manager App for iOS and Android and is available in 10 colors, ranging from subtle graphite gray and black to vibrant pink and neon green.
- Activity Track Smartwatch a waterproof device that tracks swimming exercise, as well as walking/running, stair climber and elliptical workouts. The Activity Track records steps, distance, traveled and calories burned, as well as sleep routines. The Activity Track syncs with any smartphone to display incoming call, text message and appointment alerts, and it syncs with the Vivitar Personal Fitness Manager App for iOS and Android to track fitness progress.
- Fitness Pro Smartwatch with advanced, interactive messaging capability and heart rate monitoring built in. The stylish Fitness Pro allows wearers to receive and respond to incoming calls, text messages and calendar alerts when synced with any smartphone, all while tracking steps, distance, calories burned and sleep rhythms. The device syncs with the Vivitar Personal Fitness Manager App, and the bracelet-style band is comfortable and understated in dark blue, black or gray, or makes a bold statement in hot pink, brilliant blue, lime green, purple or red.
