ViSalus™ Appoints Roberto Gonzalez General Manager Of Latino Markets
LOS ANGELES, July 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today ViSalus™, home of the Body by Vi™ 90-Day Challenge – the #1 weight-loss and fitness Challenge platform in North America, announced the appointment of Roberto Gonzalez as General Manager of Latino Markets. Gonzalez is responsible for developing the North American Latino markets and reports directly to ViSalus' President, Paul Noack.
Gonzalez will be focused on developing acculturated strategies and support tools to advance The Challenge platform. He will work closely with ViSalus' existing Latino leadership to develop the thousands of current Latino Promoters throughout North America into future international leaders. "Roberto has tremendous experience in international business development, sales and marketing," stated Noack. "His leadership will be instrumental in building ViSalus' Latino opportunity and further developing the company's global vision."
Prior to joining ViSalus, Gonzalez was General Manager of Active International in Mexico, a global leader in corporate trade with business sectors including global media buys, logistics and retail marketing services. In this position, he had full P&L responsibility, achieving or exceeding sales targets by delivering strong growth. Previously, Gonzalez was Senior Director of Sales and Communications for Herbalife International in Mexico where he developed and implemented recruitment, retention and retailing strategies to support overall growth of the business. Gonzalez also served as USA Sales Manager responsible for developing the Hispanic market for Sabritas.

Roberto Gonzalez is a graduate of Universidad Regiomontana located in Monterrey, Mexico and earned a Masters in International Law, Trade & Finance from Tulane University. Born in Mexico City, he is fluent in Spanish and resides in Palos Verdes, California with his wife and three children. His personal 90-Day Challenge is to lose 20 pounds and exercise 4 days each week.
