The VIA Italian Wine Ambassador certification course is a gold standard in Italian wine education, combining theory, tasting mastery, and direct insights from Italy's most iconic producers and regional consortia.
For 5 immersive days in the historic wine capital of Verona, selected candidates from all over the world will participate in lectures and guided tastings under the tutelage of VIA Faculty member Sarah Heller MW. Students will also take part in exclusive masterclasses designed to give them firsthand insights into specific renowned Italian wine-producing regions, adding to their mastery of academic topics and wine profiles across the entire country. The rigorous 2.5 hours exam is scheduled on day 5, followed by the exciting pinning ceremony where the newly appointed Italian Wine Ambassadors and Experts will be announced. Four Important Educational Supporters already on board
Vinitaly International Academy is proud to announce the first four Educational Supporters for this edition of their internationally recognized Italian wine certification course: Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino, Consorzio Tutela Vini Montefalco, Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello and Consorzio Tutela Vino Custoza Doc. During the course, representatives of the Consortia will provide the candidates with firsthand knowledge of their respective wine-producing regions, supporting them with tasting sessions and exploring the key features of these uniquely Italian wines through dedicated masterclasses.
