The recent patent, along with previously secured patents by the company, are a testament to Vibes' leadership in the mobile marketing space, which it has been pioneering since 1998.

The recently acquired patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office is Patent No. US 8,175,624 B2 entitled "Method and System for Managing Short Message Service Aggregation Platform and Providing Advertising Content to Mobile Communications Devices." The patent covers the delivery of sponsored advertising in SMS messages to consumers who have agreed in advance to receive advertising.
Vibes' previously secured patent, Patent No. US 7,489,940 B2 entitled "System and Method for Managing Short Message Service Communications for Radio Station Hosted Event," acknowledges the company's creation of an application for SMS mobile marketing capabilities for radio. The patent covers a disc jockey's on-air call to action, where listeners can engage with the call to action and then an interface aggregates their results in the disc jockey booth.
