VHA names Anna Fox as senior vice president and executive officer of VHA Central
IRVING, Texas, Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- VHA Inc., the national health care membership network, has named Anna Fox as senior vice president and executive officer of VHA Central. In her role, Fox oversees the strategy and operations for the four-state region covering Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. She also guides program development and services to help members achieve their clinical and operational goals.
"Anna has an outstanding background in supply chain and group purchasing as well as a deep understanding of challenges our members are facing," said Gary Ford, VHA group senior vice president, Regional Office Operations. "Her experience will be invaluable as we continue work to support our members' success."
Fox has more than 20 years' experience in the health care industry. Most recently she served as the executive director of Dignity Health's newly-formed group purchasing organization, Dignity Health Purchasing Network LLC. She was responsible for overall strategic planning, organizational development, staff management and program operations.
Fox has also served as vice president of contract operations and data management for Consorta, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of a number of strategic business units. Fox championed a supply chain analytics program credited with recovering more than $10 million in savings and cost avoidance. She also played a pivotal leadership role during the integration and transition of Consorta and HealthTrust Purchasing Group. Additionally, she served as director of operations administration at Premier Inc.
Fox has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Elmhurst College in Illinois. Throughout her career, she has been active in many national organizations including the Healthcare Supply Chain Association and the Healthcare Group Purchasing Industry Initiative.
