Veritix® and the NCAA® Extend Ticketing Partnership in Multi-Year Deal
The company will provide the ticketing platform and increased services and integration with the NCAA®
CLEVELAND, April 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Veritix® today announced that it has extended its partnership with the NCAA. With the new, multi-year agreement, Veritix will continue to provide the ticketing platform for NCAA events and begin to provide increased services and integration with the NCAA. The two organizations first began working together in 2009.
"In the years that we've worked with Veritix, they have proven to be an important strategic partner for the NCAA," said Josh Logan, Director of Ticketing & Marketing at the NCAA. "Their ticketing platform allows us to provide a top-quality experience for fans and the control we need to manage our ticketing operations across many venues in the country."
As part of the agreement, the NCAA will now have the flexibility to use the Veritix platform for more events, including all championships and all NCAA-sanctioned events. The NCAA will also continue to use Flash Seats®, the Veritix digital ticketing system, at their events. 2013 was the fifth year that Flash Seats was used at the Men's Final Four, with more than 60,000 people entering the semi-finals and championship through the system. It was the largest digital ticketing event in history.
"The Veritix platform meets the diverse and complex ticketing needs of the NCAA," said Josh Logan. "With outstanding technology, features and service, Veritix provides the reliable, safe, and convenient system that allows us to handle our events anywhere at any time."
For Veritix, the renewal of their partnership with an esteemed organization like the NCAA is a sign of their increasing expansion into the collegiate market. "Veritix is excited to work with the NCAA again, an organization we admire for their commitment to and support of student athletes," said Guy Villa, Vice President, Sales at Veritix." We look forward to continuing our successful relationship and providing the best ticketing technology, tools and services available in the industry."
