"More than half of American workers aren't using their hard-earned vacation time, resulting in a stockpile of 658 million unused vacation days and a workforce on the brink of burnout," said Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association. "This annual travel promotion provides an incentive to start planning the key components of a vacation now. This year, we have savings on hotel packages, loyalty point bundles, car rentals, admission to leading attractions and more, giving travelers dozens of wallet-friendly options for taking time off with their friends, family and loved ones.
Dow continued: "Studies show that travel not only increases happiness and improves our relationships, but also sparks creativity and keeps us refreshed when returning to work. We hope Daily Getaways inspires more people to step away from the office to experience just that."
Some of this year's deals range from behind-the-scenes movie magic experiences at Universal Studios Hollywood℠ to entertainment-filled getaways at some of Las Vegas' top hotels, including MGM Resorts International™, Caesars Entertainment, The Venetian® and The Palazzo®.
