US Drug Watchdog Urges DePuy Pinnacle or ASR Metal Hip Implant Recipients to Call About Possible Compensation Regarding Revision Surgery Without Lawyer Representation
WASHINGTON, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The US Drug Watchdog is extremely concerned that most recipients of a DePuy Pinnacle, or DePuy ASR all metal hip implant, who have already had a revision surgery, or who have a revision surgery scheduled have not yet been identified by the courts handling the litigation involving these all metal hip implants. If a recipient of a DePuy Pinnacle or ASR has had a revision surgery within the last three years, or they have a revision surgery scheduled, and they have not yet retained the services of a law firm to identify them to the courts handling the litigation, they are urged to contact the US Drug Watchdog immediately at 866-714-6466. http://USDrugWatchdog.Com

The US Drug Watchdog is very concerned that many, to most recipients of a DePuy Pinnacle, or ASR all metal hip implant, who have had a revision surgery to replace the device within the last three years, or recipients who have a revision surgery scheduled have not yet been identified by the courts handling this litigation because they have not contacted an attorney or law office to get them identified.
The group is urging individuals like this to call them immediately anytime at 866-714-6466, again with the caveat they have not yet retained counsel, and they have not yet been identified by the courts handling the litigation on these specific types of all metal hip implants. http://USDrugWatchdog.Com
The US Drug Watchdog says, "Class actions are no longer necessarily called class actions. In the instance of the DePuy Pinnacle, or the DePuy ASR they are called Multi District Litigations, or MDLs. Our big worry for recipients of a DePuy Pinnacle all metal hip implant recipient, or a recipient of a DePuy ASR all metal hip implant is they will never be compensated if they have already had a revision surgery, or if one has been scheduled. The caveats are that the revision must have taken place within the last three years, and most importantly that the recipient has not yet retained a law firm to get the recipient identified to the court handling the litigation.
"All too often victims of a defective medical device, or a defective drug call us after it is too late to receive compensation. We do not want this to happen to recipients of a DePuy Pinnacle, or DePuy ASR all metal hip implant." For more information recipients of a DePuy Pinnacle, or DePuy ASR all metal hip implant are urged to contact the US Drug Watchdog at 866-714-6466. http://USDrugWatchdog.Com
The US Drug Watchdog says, "Symptoms of the recalled DePuy ASR hip implant, or the DePuy Pinnacle failure include pain in the hip region, problems while walking, or the inability to walk, swelling of the hip implant area, general discomfort, lack of flexibility, elevated levels of cobalt or chromium in the hip implant recipient's blood stream." The US Drug Watchdog now believes a simple blood test that focuses in on cobalt or chromium levels might be the easiest way to see if a metal on metal hip implant has failed. The DePuy ASR and the DePuy Pinnacle are both metal on metal hip implants. http://USDrugWatchdog.Com
