EDMONTON, Sept. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - F.V.Ramsoondar, President and Chief Executive Officer of United Protection Security Group Inc. ("UPSG" or the "Company"), (TSX-V: UZZ) is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Mr. David Price as Corporate Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

F. Ramsoondar states " Mr. Price was The District Manager with G4S Secure Solutions in Edmonton for over 10 years; during his tenure there, he grew the revenue base in Edmonton from approximately $1.2M per year to $17M per year over the 10 year period".

F. Ramsoondar further states "Mr. Price also has an extensive background in working with the major oil and gas companies in provide security requirements. I look forward to the growth of our Company's revenue base with his appointment."

Mr. Andrew Clarke who formally held the position of V.P. Sales and Marketing will be transferred to our new Manitoba Operation to spearhead the aggressive growth plans the Company has for the region. With the addition of the Manitoba Province, the Company has now increased its service delivery to 5 Provinces and 2 Territories.
