MUNICH and BOCA RATON, Fla., Sept. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Unify, a leading communications software and services firm, today announced expanded availability of Circuit, its next-generation communication and collaboration platform, through the channel. As part of Unify's continued channel expansion, Circuit is now available in more than 30 countries. The majority of the new market opportunities for partners are within the European Union.
The ground-breaking Circuit platform revolutionizes mobile collaboration and communication, bringing together high-quality voice, video, real-time document editing and management, messaging and file sharing into a single view, across an entire team. The context of people, content and business transactions fuels the New Way to Work, and is now even more widely available through Unify's network of channel partners.
"Faced with restricted resources and budgets, businesses are having to justify their technology investments based on returning tangible business value and benefit. With the availability of Circuit, Unify's partners now have expanded opportunities to provide collaboration capabilities alongside business communications," said Tim Banting, Principal Analyst, Communications and Collaboration, Current Analysis. "Social, collaborative, and mobile services such as Circuit can enhance the way people work by: improving the way a company executes operationally (reducing human latency), helping companies innovate quicker by "flattening the organization" (improving transparency and visibility), and streamlining the digital supply chain by extending collaboration to partners and customers."
Circuit is available to Unify channel partners via two sales models—the Referral Selling Model and the Extended Agent Model— granting easy access for partners to sell Software as a Service (SaaS) to customers, while preserving and adding value to Unify's Partner Program.
Under the Referral Selling Model, partners are able to offer Circuit to current and new customers by referring these potential customers to Unify after developing the qualified lead. The Extended Agent Model enables partners to quote, close deals, and maintain their customer relationship on behalf of Unify.
"Our primary goal with our partner program is to create additional revenue streams for partners," said Jon Pritchard, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Channels at Unify. "At our Unify Partner Conference 2015 back in May, our global partners were excited about the Circuit offering, and asked if they could start selling it sooner. Being a partner-centric company, we listened to their request, accelerated our rollout schedules, and now have given our partners the ability to sell months earlier than originally planned. Circuit also offers Unify partners an opportunity to interact with customers around a leading-edge collaboration platform. Selling Circuit provides an easy entry point into the SaaS sales environment, while expanding the conversation with customers around the benefits of Circuit and improved team collaboration."
