"Wine has become such an integral part of the dining experience. This is especially true among millennials who crave the opportunity to share an evening with friends over a bottle of wine and great food," said Paul Brown, beverage manager of The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., "Millennials are also leading the trend in attending wine and beer festivals, where they can taste new wines and discover the heritage of the unique varietals. We are bringing a little of the fun and discovery of the wine festival experience to our guests' at The Melting Pot."
Embracing this trend, The Melting Pot created a signature program this fall, featuring exceptional wines front and center and the opportunity to show guests how their wine selection can enhance the flavors in their fondue.
"We take pride in using exceptional ingredients, so our Fondue & Wine Fest and limited-time pairing menu are designed to showcase the impact these ingredients have when paired with our wine selections," said Jason Miller, executive chef of The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., "Our guests will be taken on a true wine country tasting experience tableside. We encourage our guests to become 'fondue sommeliers' and visionaries by empowering them to create their idea of a perfect meal that will open their palate to flavors they've never tasted before."
The Melting Pot Uncorked will feature an authentic wine & pairings menu, which was created and expertly paired onsite and in collaboration with several vineyards in California wine country. The menu highlights industry leading West Coast wines to pair with specific menu items, such as the Spinach Artichoke Cheese Fondue. From California's First Family of Chardonnay to a founding family of California Cabernet, The Melting Pot Uncorked gives guests the opportunity to learn about the rich winemaking history.
