NEW YORK, June 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- UM, the global media agency network of IPG Mediabrands, today announced that US CEO Lynn Lewis was named a 2021 Woman of the Year by industry trade group, She Runs It. She was recognized along with Kimberly Paige, CMO of BET and Meredith Verdone, CMO of Bank of America. Earlier in the year, UM US was selected by She Runs It as the 2021 Outstanding Company for Working Mothers, a distinction awarded to only one company.
She Runs It's Woman of the Year Awards recognize leaders who have had a remarkable impact on marketing, media and tech, while making significant contributions to their communities. The 2021 awards highlight outstanding women who have redefined leadership during the past 12 to 18 months.

The She Runs It award follows several recent industry recognitions for Lewis, including Campaign US's Agency Head of the Year for the second consecutive year and a Campaign Female Frontier honoree. UM was also named Campaign's Global Media Agency of the Year.
