Tully's Coffee Selects Revel Systems iPad Point of Sale to Modernize Customer Experience
Deployment of 86 terminals throughout Washington State and California provides comprehensive business and sales analytics across multiple-store locations
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Revel Systems®, the world's leading iPad Point of Sale platform, today announced that Tully's Coffee, a leading coffee chain based in Seattle, WA, owned by Global Baristas LLC, has selected Revel's iPad POS systems to be deployed across its retail establishments. Revel Systems' iPad Point of Sale platform has launched across 46 corporate locations located in the Western United States.
Tully's Coffee recognized a need to digitize and streamline the in-store environment and was searching for a cutting edge solution that would modernize the customer experience, integrate with their current loyalty system and assist with business management. Through Revel's Point of Sale platform, Tully's is able to address all of these requirements. The light-weight Revel hardware decreases the amount of counter space used, connects to the cloud and seamlessly integrates with Tully's current loyalty platform Synergy. With Revel's Point of Sale platform, businesses can also track inventory, manage payroll and provide analytics on-the-fly to better inform business decisions.
"We were looking for a cutting edge Point of Sale system that was secure, efficient, sophisticated and easily integrated. Revel Systems' platform delivers on all of that," said Michael Avenatti, CEO and chairman of Tully's Coffee. "Revel allowed us to update our systems quickly and do it efficiently. We will have the system fully deployed and functioning by the first of September and look forward to seeing our customers and employees experience the benefits and convenience of our upgraded platform."
In addition, 15 of the selected locations are located in facilities requiring top-of-the-line data security. These locations utilized Revel Ethernet Connect™, a proprietary cabled Ethernet solution that allows enterprises to utilize a wired, always-on Ethernet connection to power their Revel iPad POS system as an alternative to WiFi connectivity. The Revel Ethernet Connect cabled solution brings the first-ever, hard-wired connection to Revel's iPad POS system in enterprise deployments, including failover from WiFi to Ethernet and from Ethernet to WiFi, as well as from one router to another. Revel's groundbreaking technology is patent-pending; the company is the first iPad POS provider to develop and deploy a wired Ethernet connectivity solution such as Revel Ethernet Connect.
"We are excited to provide our solution across a large number of Tully's locations," commented Lisa Falzone, co-founder CEO of Revel Systems. "Tully's has a rich and long history as a Seattle born and bred coffee institution. Our solution not only simplifies the checkout process for customers but it also improves Tully's ability to efficiently manage these locations individually as well as collectively."
