In addition to moderating the "Innovators in the Travel Industry" panel, Davis serves as the Event Chair of the Masters Program. He is the seven-time Chair of the program. For over twenty years, the Masters Program has been a premier executive forum for leaders in the corporate travel industry. The agenda features insightful discussions with some of the industry's most compelling speakers and leaders.
The theme of the 2011 Masters Program is "disruptive innovation," a term coined by Clayton Christensen, renowned professor and author at the Harvard Business School. According to Dr. Christensen, disruptive innovation is a "process by which a product or service takes root initially in simple applications at the bottom of a market and then relentlessly moves 'up market', eventually displacing established competitors." Dr. Christensen will speak at the Masters Program and lead an engaging dialogue with attendees about disruption in the travel industry and the impact of innovation, technologies, distribution economics, and outside investors. He will be joined by a world-class roster of speakers:
- Jack Welch, Former Chairman and CEO of the General Electric Company
- Clayton Christensen, Harvard Business School professor and author of The Innovator's Dilemma
- The Honorable Roy Blunt, United States Senate
- Jeffery H. Boyd, President and CEO, Priceline
- Montie Brewer, Former President & CEO, Air Canada
- Kevin Crissey, Director, Senior Airlines Analyst, UBS
- Jim Davidson, President and CEO, Farelogix

"GBTA's Master Program is the most influential executive forum of the year in the travel industry. It's a 'mecca' for thought leadership, and I am honored to Chair the event and moderate the discussion with the CEO's of leading innovators," said Davis. "With the coordination by GBTA and sponsorship from Amadeus, the event is poised to offer discussion and debate about the disruptive and innovative forces in our industry."
