Trapeze Networks Launches 'Channel First' Sales Model and Strengthens Partner Program
Trapeze Networks Partners Poised for Even Greater Success with Expanded Channel Sales Organization
PLEASANTON, Calif., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Trapeze Networks, a Belden Brand (NYSE: BDC) and leader in enterprise wireless LAN equipment and management software, today announced a new channel sales and marketing program and expanded sales organization leveraging the large Belden channel sales team.
Trapeze Networks added more granular levels to its reseller program in order to increase profitability and expertise of the value added resellers (VARs) at the highest levels. Resellers are now regionally assigned to reduce channel conflict and ensure customers get the highest level of wireless LAN reseller support available.

The new Trapeze Networks Distributor program is now two-tiered (Gold and Silver) and the VAR program is three-tiered (Platinum, Gold and Silver), intending to provide greater rewards for partners that sell and support both Belden and Trapeze Networks solutions. The Trapeze Networks VARs are evaluated based on meeting or exceeding a series of program performance metrics and earn program status by completing the requirements associated with 17 performance criteria. Increasing level of VAR program status is achieved by completing additional training and marketing requirements. An all-level deal registration program enables resellers to protect and enhance account ownership resulting in reduced VAR channel conflict and a better end user buying experience.
