TransMedia Group To Pump Up and Recycle Publicity on How 'Bike America' Benefits Communities, Health and Charities
BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- "Enjoy life, Ride a bike" will be among messages TransMedia Group will be pumping out to press on behalf of its new client, Bike America (http://bikeam.com/storelocator).
TransMedia (www.transmediagroup.com) said it will raise awareness of how much Bike America helps charities through its many charitable donations and sponsorships of various clubs and organizations within the cycling community.
The firm said its publicity will also show how an active lifestyle can promote better health through cycling.
TransMedia said Bike America is one of Florida's largest and most successful retailers of bicycles, parts and accessories from its eight locations throughout the region. (www.bikeam.com).
The owner of Bike America, Gary Mercado, said he wants TransMedia to make cycling an even more top-of-mind pastime and sport especially for women.
"Mercado, who bought the company last year, wants us to focus our publicity more on female consumers as well as on the community and charities Bike America helps and of course, on kids who love bikes," said Gabriela Vega, TransMedia's PR Director and former Adventure Travel Entrepreneur.
"Cycling gives kids not only a sense of freedom, but practice with balance," said Vega, a mother of two young, bike-loving children.
"Riding a bicycle can be an important rite of passage for a child, providing crucial development skills, plus, it's fun for the whole family."
TransMedia PR campaign plans to cycle publicity about how and where to shop for that perfect bike ride and receive not only professional service, but riding tips and advice, a calendar of community events and test rides.
"Our publicity will emphasize how Bike America's experienced staff provides expert assistance to customers in selecting the proper bike type and model," said Vega.
Moreover, TransMedia plans to publicize that Bike America operates bicycle rental concessions at several Broward County parks and sponsors night rides and supports community cycling events.
"Our publicity will showcase the many major fund-raising bike rides sponsored by various foundations."
"Cycling teaches people about themselves, their communities and surroundings," said Tom Madden, TransMedia's CEO.
Because cycling is such a clean, healthy, fun-filled sport, TransMedia said it plans to explore with Bike America more cooperative ventures and community events. "We're excited to be riding with Bike America," said Adrienne Mazzone, President of TransMedia group.
