BALTIMORE, Sept. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Transamerica announced today that it will host a webinar for financial advisors, consultants and third party administrators that explores the differences between the three generations in today's workforce and how to best create a collaborative and healthy work environment between them. The webinar will be held September 27 at 12 p.m., ET.
The webinar, "Bridging the Generation Gap in Retirement Services," will focus on the share of space each generation – Baby Boomers, Generation X and Millennials – occupies in today's workforce. It will provide insights into the mindset of how each approaches their work and practical tips on how to bridge the gap among cross-generational employees, managers and senior leadership – leading to increased collaboration and other positive outcomes.
The webinar's featured speaker is Sara Simoneaux, retirement plan industry consultant and co-founder of Simoneaux & Stroud Consulting Services, a company that helps retirement services firms create successful business models. She is a former president of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, and a nationally-recognized author and speaker on various topics related to retirement plans, employee benefits, plan design and best practices.
The webinar is the latest installment of the Transamerica Practice Management Forum, an educational series designed to offer practical commentary from a diverse group of subject matter experts. The webinar will be approximately one hour in length, with time for questions and answers.
