Top Recruiter e-Course Is Like Being by the Side of a Master!
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- If one wants to recruit the best, they need to learn from the best. Recruiters and those considering recruiting as a career now have the opportunity to learn from a master, thanks to a new e-Course by The Millionaire Recruiter and Techees.com founder, Brianna Rooney.
"I was blessed to learn from the best, Miss Spectacular, Brianna Rooney," said Madison Lee of Techees. "She helped me with the lingo and how to be a true matchmaker."
Being a "matchmaker" is one of the viewpoints Rooney is known for. She sees recruiting as not just a way to help fill open positions and get paid (very well) for it - but as a way to help people shape their lives and move forward in their careers. Setting the right person in the right position is like matchmaking; creating a win-win situation for both the new hire and their new company.
Teaching her employees how to be successful matchmakers in their own rights has driven Rooney's passion to go beyond those she can mentor in person. She's now poured her knowledge and personal charisma into her three-hour intensive e-Course.
Rooney's Millionaire Recruiter e-Course contains multiple elements that are just like learning at the elbow of the master, no matter where the student lives. The training is hands-on, with the course mimicking her in-person training sessions. She brings her superstitions and lucky charms to the table, goes off-script like she does in real life and teaches recruiters how to negotiate with candidates and clients. She also shares the "cheat sheets" she provides to Techees.com employees, as well as quizzes that help recruiters learn the ins and outs of the job.
Built into the course are interactive and feedback elements, as well as checkpoints that help guarantee proper training and future success. e-Course participants receive one hour-long phone session with one of Rooney's top recruiters or even with Rooney herself. The course also helps participants write a killer resume to get them on the path to their first recruiting job fast.
Throughout the course, Rooney covers a number of topics, including how to use LinkedIn, read and write resumes, understand venture capital funding and equity, conduct Boolean searches, and write emails. Videos cover numerous real-world recruiting activities, like watching Rooney take real calls with clients and companies, so students can see how scenarios actually play out - unscripted.
Rooney says, "I didn't have a script, I went off of how I felt in the moment. I kept it natural. I just know what I have to cover and went for it. I go on tangents on camera and we didn't edit it. Which is exactly how I train (and work) in real life."
This real-life approach and being transparent was one of the things that Madison Lee remembers drew her to learning to recruit.
"I actually started in operations at Techees, making sure everyone had a working computer and was well insured," relates Lee. "But after observing the recruiters, I realized – hey I can do this… I am personable, organized and already the go-to IT support in the office."
It was only the commission-based aspect of recruiting that made Lee nervous.
"I'm a steady paycheck kind of person," she admits. "[But] someone wise once said, when you get comfortable you, don't work as hard. I go in everyday with the mindset that I have nothing and to be productive as possible."
So with Rooney's encouragement, Lee decided to go for it.
"With the world at my fingertips, I couldn't resist giving it a shot. It pays off every time I help someone through their interview process. To witness the pure joy of the next big step in their life is worth waiting for."
Lee's experience shows that Rooney's training isn't just for experienced recruiters. With the large number of openings in technology and other sectors versus the small number of talented recruiters, there is plenty of room for more well-trained recruiters. Rooney hopes those curious about recruiting will take on the challenge of her e-Course and build a successful career for themselves. She believes anyone can learn to be a good recruiter - and make great money doing it.
