In restaurant product sampling happening all spring long, bakery cafe chain launches social media character to promote new frozen beverage
DUBLIN, OH, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop knows the hottest thing this summer is frozen and to celebrate winter's thaw the bakery cafe chain has launched its official drink of summer—Frozen Hot Chocolate—available in U.S restaurants.

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's new delectable Frozen Hot Chocolate is made fresh with real cream, blended with chocolaty syrup then layered with chocolaty whipped topping and drizzle and served icy-cold.
The Frozen Hot Chocolate will be sold at U.S. restaurants only and retails for $2.49 for a 12-ounce small.

The Frozen Hot Chocolate drink tested so well in its development phase, that local restaurant owners are encouraging guests to come in and have a taste. Beginning now through June, participating Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurants will be offering free samples of the new product to any guest who simply requests one.
To promote the new product, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop introduces a disorganized, but charming lifestyle "expert," named Tess Timmons. Much like how the term Frozen Hot Chocolate is an oxymoron, Tess lives in a very literal world and is often confused by oxymorons.
